Nile Perch, the world’s largest freshwater game fish, is native to Africa and a formidable opponent. Catching specimens over 100 pounds is not uncommon and occasionally ones in excess of 200 pounds are landed. In Lake Victoria Nile Perch typically weigh between 20 – 250 pounds.
